EQUIP Teachers Are a Gift From God.
We all know that parents are the first teachers as the foundation of both academics and faith begin in the home. As our children grow, we have to entrust their learning for the most part, to the education system. In many instances, our children may be spending most of their days in school with educators that we hope and pray are equipped and capable of preparing them for the future.
It’s no secret that the current state of our public education system is in need of serious improvements. Most often our educators, specifically teachers are blamed for what’s wrong when most are working extremely hard and doing a great job. As parents, as a community and as colleagues, we have to pray for our educators as they are a gift from God.
We all know that unless your child attends a parochial school, there is a clear separation between faith and the school system however; does that stop us from covering our educators in prayer? Should that stop the educators of the faith community and beyond, from convening to support and learn from one another; absolutely not!
“The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life”. Proverbs 13:14
