Ever Considered a Financial Fast?
April is Financial Literacy Month and during this time, we should all be taking intentional steps toward achieving financial wellness. Of course we are NOT limited to this month however; if you’re not on track to your financial goals, it’s a perfect opportunity to create and/or update your money plan.
I recently went to a brunch where the amazing Tonya Raplet of My Fab Finance talked about the importance of holding yourself accountable for taking the time to achieve financial freedom. She has a user friendly, information packed website full of lifestyle tips on accomplishing just that and more!
After having stewed over all that Tonya shared, combined with some of the personal and professional financial goals that I have, I rcognized that some changes are in order. Then while in a local bookstore, this random book on finance caught my eye and that was all the confirmation I needed to start considering a financial fast.
A jump-start to curb spending may just be the thing needed to get on track. So here are some tools to get started in addition to a great online community to follow are the Frugal Fab 5. Feel free to leave some of your tips and resources as well; happy saving! Spread Love, It’s The BrooKlyn Kisha Way!
