Nothing like a NYC Summer!

If you’re a New Yorker, you know how it goes down in the big apple for summer.  While New York is known all over the world for its nightlife, nothing beats being anywhere within the 5 boroughs on any given day of the summer. Whether morning, noon, or night, the number of FREE concerts and activities all around the city are endless and practically unavoidable.

It is literally impossible to keep up with the various lists of activities and/or not participate in something.  I’ve accidentally run into all kinds of performances in addition to my annual “must have” events. It’s not surprising that some plan vacations around the happenings of our city and quiet as kept, I sometime get a little disappointed when I have to travel during the summer season myself.  From weekend fun, after work something to-do or a full-fledged staycation, there is something that caters to just about every interest.

Every year it seems the options continue to grow and get better with time.  After the brutal winter we’ve had, I’m so ready for the outdoors of summer 2014, here we come! Free Summer Concerts: NYC 2014 (Official Guide)
