Slim Down for Summer
All over social networking sites, people have been posting their work-out pictures, smoothie recipes and other get fit tips. Some are “giving up” things for Lent, while others are adding on to living healthier lifestyles.
This time of year is very common to see people choosing healthier options as winter pounds shed and the Slim Down for Summer begins!
A few years ago while doing one of Dr. Ian Smith’s diets, I was able to permanently stop adding any form of sweeteners to my drinks, inclusive of; sugar, honey, agave, raw sugar etc. That’s right, I went completely cold turkey after researching sugar substitutes and finding they were not any “healthier” then using regular sugar. Since then, which is almost 8 years ago, I can proudly say, that I have maintained that change. I share that story to say that my hope is that in whatever people try, they find something that they can hold on to as permanent lifestyle changes.
A friend recently shared this Flat Tummy Water recipe which I am currently trying as opposed to my plain lemon water, which I must say is refreshingly delish! I’ve also a little research and have found countless benefits of naturally infused water.
Maybe you have some health tips to share, that may not be as extreme as dieting but are easy affordable ways to add small changes to our everyday lifestyles that will have a lasting impact.
