Stay M.A.D (Make a Difference)

Confirmation seems to come just when you need it the most.  It’s not always easy to do the things that you are purposed to do.  Often times that obedience can come at a cost of recognition, financial gain or the outward appearance of benefit however; everything about living your purpose brings a sense of indescribable peace, no matter what else may be going on in your life and around you.

Sunday’s church service was dedicated to Public Service Workers, and all who work in the field were acknowledged and individually prayed for.  Later on during the Pastors sermon, she talked about how we need to Go M.A.D (Make a Difference).  Without going on and on, I’ll just say that I’m blessed to be a part of a ministry that affirms the challenging work that rarely gets acknowledge for anything positive but yet positively impacts the lives of many.

At that moment, I thought about how blessed I am; not for what I have but for what I am able and willing to do for others: whether on or off the clock. When I’m down and doubting myself, people are positioned in my life to see and know my heart. They speak life into me and encourage me through those times of doubt.  Even though it’s difficult I realize that I cannot, not serve, as that is my purpose. Honestly, the toughest part of living my purpose isn’t whether or not I should do but at times, what to do.

With all that’s going on socially, I don’t see there being as shortage of need therefore; my prayer is that I Stay M.A.D!

Small ways, make a huge difference, if you’re not already, Go M.A.D.  Spread Love, It’s the BrooKlyn Kisha Way!

Do you go M.A.D?

Do you go M.A.D?
